    changing outside temp display

    Hi Guys,

I have been right through rave and the owners manual but can only find how to change the ouside temp from Farenheight to celcius throught the sat nav, mine doesnt have this.
has any one succesfully done this?

It seemed to of changed on its own for no reason so maybe there is a fault.
this has been asked on a few forums without a succesfull outcome.

    any ideas??

    cheers

    Fahrenheit to Celsius

    Neil,

Yes isn't great to read 87 rather than 26 or whatever. I had this problem but it came from the fact that when they had previously reset the service interval they also inadvertently changed the temp too. When I then recently had the major service they reset it back to Celsius.

If its an AUS spec car I'm surprised a battery pull for 60mins wouldn't do it - have you tried this?

Otherwise you might be stuck with a service centre. Should only take them 5mins on the computer.
If you have a good relationship with them they might just do it for you?

If they're going to charge you anyway might as well get the other cpu controlled settings adjusted at the same time to suit your preferences: speed based locking, dual press central locking etc

Try this ! it might work on the Oz models:
    From ffrr site

"on the LH stalk on the steering column (the silvery tipped one with the "i" carved in it that changes stuff in the driver info screen in the dash), press it in and hold it so it scrolls through the functions to UNITS and IIRC you will find the miles per litre and temperature units change choice."
