Ron, I think you will find from what I read, that it will start the car a number of times consecutively and then not work. It is designed so you can use it if your main key is damaged until the replacement arrives - or like my original query - for water sports.

Unfortunately I don't have one and the ebay cheapo I have doesn't have the RFID, so I can't leave my main key at home.
