Does - or can - the glass come out first? Failing that, leave the lump of wood there...![]()
Hi Everyone
My rear drivers side electric window has ground to a crunching halt.Grinding noises came from it and the window would only go half way up..(in the rain of course)
After pulling the door card off I mananged to get the window up with the help of a piece of wood...
It does not look to complicated to replace except I cant get to the upper bolts, they are behind the glass, any tricks to doing this.
Cheers Paul

If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
The glass is in its runners, attached to the regulator by one torqe screw.I'm thinking if I remove that then the glass will drop down and I can then get to the upper screws.I dont want to start anything I cant finish.....The regulator has to come from the UK, no stock in Australia.
The lump of wood is still there and holding well.......ha ha

Are these guides any help ?

Hi Laurie
Thanks for the pdf, its actually the interior R/H rear door.I cant get the cable to fit back onto the interior door handle.
It came off easy when I took the door card off,but reattaching it to the handle has me stumped...
Cheers Paul
Brummy does this help ?
