I have the Pirelli scorpions as well and have no strange noises at all.
They've been on the car for about 50k ish
My L322 has recently had fitted it's second set of Pirelli Scorpion Zero. Since new they've been making a constant whiring type sound that sometimes leads to 'wahhh wahhh' off beat sounds (I can't describe it - obviously!!..can't think of the word right now).
I'll be getting them changed to something else....
I've been using Pirelli for a while now especially on the Disco. I think the ATR's are the best tyre you can get for the Disco.
Anyone else had a noisy Pirelli Scorpion Zero on your L322??
Thinking of trying the Pirelli Verde, or Conti UHP, or Michelin Latitude Tour HP....I want neat complete silence when travelling.
Cheers..

I have Nitto Terra Grabberson mine and they're great.
Not noisy, wearing well after 30k, gripping well in sand this weekend.

I'm running Michelin Latitude Tour HP, very quite, one of the big reasons I bought them.

Cant talk for the L322, but the pirelli scorpions on the P38 were quite noisy.
I had Continental conti's on the 322 and they were quiet, and now have very cheap nexens on it and am amazed at how quiet they are again. Will see how they last allthough, and even though I didn't get stuck at Melrose in some slick mud, they are really only a highway tread.

I've recently changed from Michelin Syndchrome to Latitude HP. They are super quiet and after ~10k are showing very little sign of wear.. Good rubber
