    Cooper A/T3

Anyone running these tyres on their TD6?
Size I would fit is 265/60/18
Interested in comments good or bad

    Thanks

When I first bought my L322, it had these on front, albeit just legal tread.
Drove it back from Melbourne to Qld and first thing I did was take these off .
Tended to dive around on rough bitumen and I didn't think they had the grip in wet, that I expected in such a nice-to-drive car!
Replaced with couple 1/2 worn Michelins; MUCH improved road manners.
    All mine are 265/60 x 18

my car had them all round when I bought it (about 60-70%), absolutely terrible, no grip wet or dry which also transpires to numb steering, put simply the worst tyres I have ever experienced to the point where I wouldn't have bought the car if I hadn't experienced another L322 with them in my search - spotted a pattern on how the car felt based on tyres and these were the stand out. Previous owner provided detailed records and they weren't that old.

In the US Coopers are just cheap bottom end rubbish, don't understand how they get sold as top notch stuff here...

Thanks guys I have had my suspicions.
So as an alternative how about Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10. They are available over here for a good price at present and the reviews seem good.

    Thanks

I have general grabbers AT2 and I find them very good off road and not to noisy around town, mind you I do have my music up loud so would not hear road tires but am still happy with them had coopers ST & AT and would not buy them again.

    COOPER A/T3

Purchased a set of A/T3 265-60-18 a month ago and done almost 2K on them, and have been bush twice with them. Given the exceedingly small range of tyres available in 18's, from my experience and the recommendation of most retailers they are the best of the bunch. They are good on dirt and rocks ok on greasy clay and soft going, and on road I have only noticed a very slight increase in understeer on hard cornering. Good luck with them!

There are no coopers for the 19", the choice for that size is appalling, seems they only made the 19" size for LR.

Only off road tyre that I found was the Goodyear Wrangler MTR 255/55 R19 Off Road Tyres, which I think are near impossible to get anymore, correct me if I'm wrong here guys.

Got some Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 at a price I would have to be stupid to have refused.Less than half the price of the Coopers and third the price of BFG AT which I would have fitted if I had stupid amounts of spare cash.
So will see what they are like when fitted.

    Thanks
    Adrian
