    Lower suspension arms

Just inspected the curved lower suspension arms and noticed the rubber bushes on both the left and right side are perished.
Can these bushes be replaced,or do you have to buy the complete arm with the bush attached ?
Anyone have a part number ?

Thanks Gary. Yes the front curved lower suspention arms.Do you need a press to get them out,or is there an easier method.
Also are the complete arms with the bush already fitted, the same for both sides,or do they have separate part numbers.
I'm going to the UK next week and have seen the whole units for $80

    Hi Brummy

There is a proper tool to Remove / Replace bushes. But I'm sure you could much the same with some sockets, a vice & a long bolt.

Arm appears to be same both sides. Not a kit. So may not come with bush & ball joint. You will need to check if going down this route. But is VIN specific.

    Part # RBJ000062 VIN to 5A999999
    # RBJ500710 VIN From 6A000001 to 7A257017
    #RBJ500920 VIN From 7A257018

    That's x 2

All this info is available on RAVE & Microcat

I tried replacing these first with the vice/sockets method; they just wouldn't budge.
Then went to a mate's 35t press; the old ones collapsed, so had to cut out with a hacksaw.
The new ones went in OK though with the press.
Make sure you align the bush according to instructions, or make note where old ones "cutouts" are.

    LOWER SUSPENSION ARM

Thanks Don.The whole arm with the bush attached seems the way to go.At $80 each in the UK.
Would the right and left sides be identical or separate part numbers ?

Strange way they identify these front suspension arms."

The rear, curvy arm is called the "upper arm"
RH--RBJ000120 (includes the bush), not the ball joint
    LH--RBJ000130 " " " " " "
    Bush is same both sides--RBX000200
Bolt-on ball joint same both sides--RBK000012, up to 5A999999

The front arm is called "lower arm" and is same both sides.--RBJ000062
    or bush only--RBX000070
If you buy the arm ( ball joint is part of it) you get the bush as well.

    Upper and lower suspension arms

    Hello again,
Just had replaced the upper and lower suspension arms on both sides of the front of my range rover. Wow what a difference.
I bought on ebay uk the upper and lower arms with the bushes and ball joints already fitted (what a knuckle basher that is trying to get the bushes out).
They bolted straight in with no hiccups. The front end feels like new now.
I have still got the squeaking coming from what sounds like the back. Whilst in the uk I bought the upper and lower rear bushes - anyone out there know if there is any other bushes at the rear and what is involved to replace them?

    Lower suspension arm

    Hi Peter
No problems with the aftermarket, upper and lower arms.
A company called RST Landrover on ebayUK was the supplier.
They do have Delphi which I believe are the Land Rover OEM parts.
I noticed they have gone up to $95.00 with the exchange rate. They also can do freight to Oz.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers Paul
