Tow tongue/ball + wiring loom + electric brake gadget
Going through the process of fitting LR tow tongue and wiring loom - booked in tomorrow with Barbagallo Land Rover - $513 for parts and $280 for fitting - plus another $395 for electric brake actuator gyro gadget for towing the Cruise Craft.
$1188 all up. That's about right, isn't it? Can't think of any way around it, apart from doing it all myself. And that ain't going to happen.....

Sounds very good, 513 for the parts is actually a lot cheaper than I would have thought.
Fitting the parts is a very easy job, however the brake controller is a pain, no choice but to remove a heap of trim panels to run that wire to the back and change the plug wiring around (assuming it the same as 2002-2009) - if you don't know about it take it in....
I fitted a controller to a mates 2010 V10tdi VW Toureg while ago – what a treat already prewired, there is a 4 pin plug under the dash, just had to make a plug for the end of the controller and plug it in.
