SupporterHey guys, so I've finally worked out that my error messages on my dash that hold the 'air susp inactive' and locks the suspension is due to a dud compressor. So the question is do I rebuild the unit with an O ring kit, or drop a whole new compressor in? Either way I will have to pay to get the error msg removed to activate the compressor..vehicle is an 04 td6 with 120k on it, that I'm planning on holding onto for a while.

SubscriberPull the compressor apart first and have a look. If the bore is undamaged then an o ring kit may work. With the money you save, you could buy a IID tool or similar.

SubscriberThere are some very reasonably priced rebuild kits on ebay UK; some complete with piston, cylinder, seals/O rings.
