    Funky Smell! Front left corner.

    I have a really bad smell coming from the front left side of my engine bay. it makes my throat sore when I get a sniff.

    Smells like overheated brakes, burning brake fluid or burring transmission fluid. However i cant find any leaks...

    Any ideas on what usually leaks in the left corner??

    Hmmm, left hand side has your PAS pump, coolant top up tank, fuel cooler - that's about all I think.... Is the PAS fluid burnt? Could be a stuck brake calliper on the front LHS, but you would feel that when driving. Does it smell after a drive, or also while it is sitting there idling? Temp gauge look ok?

    Temp is fine, and it stinks even when idling... Ill check the PAS fluid in the morning
