Have look at this.
PD1881 8X18 available for LR4 and RRS Brembo
If your Brembos are same as on Sport and Disco then could be OK.
Let us all know what you find out as I could be interested later on.

I'm wondering how easy would it be to convert the Brembo's on a 4.4TDv8 to the same size (smaller) brakes on the 3.6TDv8? This would enable me to move to the Comopmotive 18 inch rims so many are using on D4's; and the variety of quality LT tyres.
18" Motorsport Wheels
I'm nervous about towing a heavy caravan, fuel etc over long distances (eg the Plenty Highway) with 20's and Cooper LTZ (50 series) which seems to be current option).
Any thoughts????
cheers

These wheels will fit any TDV8 with the 3.6 engine; Unfortunatley LR increased the brake size (again!) with the new 4.4TDV8 - now 6 piston front calipers and these wheels wont fit (damn!!!!).
cheers
I'll swap you for my 03 model if you're that worried. 18's will go straight on...![]()
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
There are write ups around on changing to the diesel brake.
I'm beginning to think its too $$$ to go down this path by the time you get 6 x 18" rims, tyres and new brakes.
Might just get another spare 20" rim and look at the new range of LT tyres in 20's coming out from the likes of Hankook, Toyo, BFG and Nitto. I guess in time we will see more, stronger, AT tyres given the huge increase in 4WD's running 19 and 20 inch rims.
cheers
It depends on what sort of roads you are travelling. In my outback travelling I have encountered many roads where road surface is really quite good which tends to encourage higher speeds and then suddenly you hit a rocky outcrop that the grader couldn't smooth out. It is for this reason that I prefer to have a tyre that has the maximum side wall depth possible. It is for this reason I run a set of BFG 265/65/18's on my early L322 when travelling outback. No clearance problems once you have made a small mod to the fuel filler cover in right rear wheel well.
I am considering up grading the car and if I do I will be looking to try a set of 255/60/19's on the next RR, (assuming 18's wont go on). I dont think these are available in OZ but easy to import from Tire Rack. Maybe they will be available here eventually.
I dont worry about replacement in remote locations as there are no ready options for even 18's as I found in Alice springs a couple of years ago when I tested the issue - all the tyre Co's there quoted me 2 weeks. My BFG's got here from US in 5 days ! I always carry a couple of spares (although to date never needed them) and at worst I have my 60 profile originals at home to send for.
There should be no fitting problems as the tyre diameter of say a 255/65/19" Wrangler AT with Kevlar is 31.1" Vs 31.7" for my 18" BFG's.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has tried this.

I saw a 2010 Rover at Ozzy Tires when i went to drop mine off with 305/50 R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers so 12.2in Wide and 32.09 High. I took a photo of his tire next to my car as they are the same outer diameter to get an idea of what mine will look like. He said he has had no clearance problems and as they are only 50mm higher then standard they are legal in every state with out any certificate.
So you would get another inch or tire wall all round, unless you are already running 32in and want more side wall.
Thanks JJ - that was one option I was considering - much appreciated!!!
