I actually like this look better. Allows you to hang anything off the front end and still gives a nice clean look. I agree it may not offer full protection against an animal strike, but it think you would drive away from it with only panel damage, and not a shagged radiator and intercooler that would leave you looking for a yow truck.

defiantly looks amazing dont get me wrong i just dont think it will provide "the best" protection from roos, emu's etc. i plan on doing ALLOT of touring with my range (when i get it), i just dont see that bar providing the amount of protection required (for myself). i do work in the bush so i know what i'm up ageist. and driving an array of vehicles with assorted barwork on them i would say steel is the only way to go. i have collected some monster roos and pigs with both alloy and steel bars, and i wouldn't go past a steel bar.

    Smile Bar

Just had a look on the Rhino website. I do like the designs they use. Although I agree that top bar work is must for extra protection. I have travelled across the top including the Gibb River in a RR Classic & did hit some big roos unfortunately, it happens...

The L322 would look great with one of these Rhino bars.

I have just installed a Range Rover nudge bar because this is all we have as an option, although I'm on a very tight budget I would go for a well designed front bar.

    I'm watching with anticipation...

    Design

It looks like their bars are modular, hopefully they will be designed to fit & look good on all 2002-2012. I'm particular keen on them fitting the 2006 onwards and adding a winch.

I mounted my aerial on the back drivers side roof rack mounting point. I keep the foot of one of my three Rhino rack feet (rear most) permanently in place with the Rhino aerial mount attached to the foot. Neat. Tidy and hardly noticeable. When I put the rear cross bar on I move the aerial mount up onto the cross bar itself.

    I'm interested

I have just bought a 2004 L322 I am interested in a bull bar but I travel long distances at night so I need the protection of a conventional bar. Although in over a dozen trips across the Nullabor I havent hit a roo yet. Then if I didn't have a bullbat I'm sure I would hit one first trip. Was the ARB Disco 3 bar fitted at the start of this thread extensively modified to fit . It does look good I would settle for that if a purpose built one doesn't become available. Anyone know who did the mods or who owns the rangy in the pics. Also has anyone made a swing out spare carrier for the L322.
    Mike
