Was the ARB Disco 3 bar fitted at the start of this thread extensively modified to fit . It does look good I would settle for that if a purpose built one doesn't become available. Anyone know who did the mods or who owns the rangy in the pics. Also has anyone made a swing out spare carrier for the L322.

Ill be getting around to it one day, i swear.
the modified disco bar will void all legalities of your vehicle...aka you get rear ended, you are not going to get any insurance. So I advise not to go down that path unless you pay the minimum $9k to have all the impact testing done (and then sell them to us).

Swing carrier I have made (Still finishing off) and Ill be looking at selling the design once I am happy with it and make it digital.

    Hey Mate

how are you going on the bullbar? i have been talking to the guys at gitsham motor body's here in Adelaide and he is dead seat keen on making a bullbar for the range rover. he has just stipulated that he would need at least 10 paid orders before he could commence building. i'm just waiting on an email back from him in regards to cost. they will be winch compatible and they are hoping to retain the fog-lights and front parking sensors. attached are two styles of bullbars they make. personally i like the "ultimate" style bullbar as it looks more rugged and ready for those large roo's i'm currently competing for road-space with on my long drives. i'm getting desperate for a bullbar so i thought i would do some legwork and see what i can come up with. he could potentially start manufacturing as early as may.

They look fantastically "roo Proof" haha!
but thanks, I did contact the second (more expensive) manufacture option last week about this and with no deposit required type thing. They are a bit flat out at the moment so development wouldnt go ahead for another few months unfortunately.

However we could use this for some bargaining power against the smaller manufactures who do want atleast 10+ deposits and hopefully get them to realise it would be a good investment on their behalf to get rid of the deposits and get them made!

Hopefully within a few months I'll have found my ideal RRV and would then be putting my hand up for a proper bar.

    Jason.
I would like someone to provide a winch mount kit for l322. I really like the look of a winch at front.

    BullBar L322

I'll be in, saves me a lot of work.
And they look good. As for variants from basic bumper replacement to centre hoop or full front hoops, would only vary price slightly, as they are simple extras as with sensor, aerial and light mounts.

I went and met with Iron man 4x4 development manager yesterday and he had a look at the rangie for me.
He will be getting back to me once they conduct some market research to see if its a viable investment or not.
Ideally they would like to produce 100 world wide.

    Thumbs up Ironman

Now that IS a bull bar worth having, especially if the design is in keeping with the 200 Cruiser Deluxe & Premium Deluxe already produced.

I'm sure Ironman would find more than 100 persons interested in purchasing one, especially as the L322 was in production for over 10 years. That's a lot of return on investment as the Range Rover prices come down and they get used more for super-touring and off road.

The design would have to account for the different light and grill layout, something that Ironman would find easy for sure.

Ironman now have my full attention...
