Thread: L322 TD6 Crank Angle Sensor

Recently noticed on ebay this part for sale. Can anyone confirm that the TD6 has one, and is it something that can fail, is there much history of failure? If so then I should really carry a spare on my longer trips.
I recently had one fail on my Mercedes, result was instant engine cutout ! However they are normally very simple to replace, provided they are accessible.

Yes they do have one... i don't believe they are a common issue but very wise to have one if your heading bush as you say
