Well I've pulled the trigger on the 08 MY TDV8. It has a bucket load of road miles but an impeccable service history including diff & transmission services. I'm not sure how I'll go in the transition from a tough as nails Perentie which I've driven for the last 8 years to the ultimate in off road comfort. I can only do my best. At least it's the poverty pack for a L322 with a possibility of 18" wheels. Here it is: image-1751259031.jpg
    L322 tdv8 poverty pack - wow
Perentie 110 wagon ARN 49-107 (probably selling) turbo, p/steer, RFSV front axle/trutrack, HF, gullwing windows, double jerrys etc.
Perentie 110 wagon ARN 48-699 another project
    Track Trailer ARN 200-117

Either go down to 18" or up to 20".

The 19" is very limited for off road tyres and larger sizes, thanks to the USA market, the 20" and 18" has a large variety. I am currently on 19" and will be going to 18 for this reason alone.

Is 265/60R18 a fairly common size tyre?

Relatively, not very big tho but you can still get a variety of treads (AT, MT etc) but zip on an equivalent 19" size

If I remember correctly this is the standard size for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and possibly a few others.

On an interesting note, the Car Sales site has a tyre buying addon now. When I put our standard 19" size in it comes up with the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac. These are supposed to be a good agressive AT even heading towards an MT.

Direct Link. - Hopfuly this works

Thats very interesting, they are not listed on the goodyear Australia site, only with the US market. I also checked the sites of the places they said could fit them and again, that tyre is not listed in that size...I would recommend some more research before buying online.

The 19" Duratracs are indeed available here and there's a thread in the D3/D4/RRS section on them.
