Congrats mate.
I can't help with your question. I get a 2007 L322 next week so am also in the process of learning a new vehicle too.
Hi all, I just collected a 2007 L322 S/C yesterday. It's done 62,000kms and in pretty nice condition.
I read on here a thread about fitting a second battery in the rear and it pointed to the use of the 100A supply point down the right rear of the car for the battery tie in.
I am not looking for fitting a second battery but installing a feed for an Anderson plug on the back of the car for caravan fridge supply when towing.
Is it ok to use that same point (with a 50A circuit breaker) to feed mt Anderson plug and what is the suggested route for the cable to the lower rear valance?
Pete.

Got all this done at Austral's Land Rover Brisbane - in house auto sparkey is excellent I'm sure would help if you called them (for guidance); but assume someone on here will also answer (and ofcourse Drivesafe is worth talking to about his Traxide DB unit if you do go down that path).
cheers
Hi Pete - welcome to the forum.. Nice choice of vehicle.
Short answer is that yes, you can run a 50amp supply off that back fuse panel. If you tried to run one back to the battery, you would go insane... The second battery really is a good idea, as I've found it helps keep battery voltages up so you don't get erroneous fault codes appearing. The kit from Traxide is very easy to install. Drivesafe - a member on the forum here owns and runs Traxide - you won't find a better isolator if you go down that path.
No idea how to get the supply from there to the back of the vehicle though - I've never done it.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Welcome Pete,
Nice car
As Gav mentioned, the Traxide controller is a ripper. I am sure if you pm'ed Tim (Drivesafe) he would be able to help you with how to get the supply through too.
Enjoy your stay.
Mark
