    flat air strut

Have put new front struts in my td6,drivers one will not inflate.Have today had a new steering sensor fitted so all things are active again.I was hoping once it all was reset the bag would inflate. However british off road could not get it to.They didn't have time to go into it today,so was wondering if the brains trust could think of anything i could do myself.I don't know if it is the valve block or crosslink valve. It was sitting for several months before i replaced the bags.Iwas thinking of jacking up car, taking air line off crosslink valve and pumping with compressor then quickly putting it back, thereby having some air in bag.Any thoughts?

If you want to see a few pictures of what's behind things for the front air struts, have a look at this thread:
Air Susp Inactive: Strut out. Airbag seems OK. No air from air-line.

I pulled out a lot of the valve blocks & etc when I was re-fitting my front struts. It is all reasonably logical.

Well, checked yellow pipe at valve block,no air.Pulled pipe off cross valve, pumped up bag with compressor and pinched pipe with vice grips.Refitted pipe and released vice grips.Bag stayed up.Started up,front dropped a bit till level, all good. Two drives later ,"air susp inactive" and no lights on height dial?Did this coming home from british off road yesterday, then came back on.Now this. At least front is level again, but suspension frozen.
