    Air Suspension solonoid

    Hi Don
I had to take it to the main Land Rover dealer today as it would have been a wait untill 6 Jan, for my own mechanic.
Bit worried about how much i will have to mortgage the house for........its never cheap...ha ha..

Was it only the failed strut or something else also ? It's just you changed struts and it didn't work

    Air Strut

Just the strut at $1200......Land rover dealer trade price.....
Both the struts that I fitted, had faulty shocks, although the bags were good.....murphys law.
They fitted the strut, cleared all the faults, recalibrated the heights, and thats it...$625 for labour......
I took the old one off and fitted the new one in about an hour, obviously i'm a fast worker......and they aint......Lawyers dont make that much.......!!!!
    Cheers Paul.

Great news you're back on the road. I'd love to be able to earn that sort of coin for less than 2 hours of work.

$1,200 isn't bad either for a 200 quid (retail) OEM strut...
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I just ordered a OEM air strut for the R/H side, and it cost $495 delivered from the UK, and arrived in 48 hours.
