    I called them this morning they do alloy & steel . Steel is zinc dipped then powder coated . Alloy about $230 dearer than steel. They can can add custom bits as well and have several varieties to suit roof top tents etc.

    GPS radio arrived

    The radio GPS dvd CD player thingy arrived looks like a genuine one. I have to Fitbit tomorrow hopefully.

    arh, no it doesn't. Looks like one of the chinese units to suit the X5.

    Yep it's a chinese unit but it's fitted with the same plugs to go direct into the landrover. Chinese stuff these days isn't bad. All my radar & plotter from raymarine is made in China. There are not many companies left who don't outsource to China for components then assemble themselves.
