    upgrade to the Android system.

    Hello there fellows, can anyone point me in the right direction, i would like to have the sat/nav and sound system up graded to the Android with the touch screen etc. There are a few DIY videos on the net but all this electrickery is still a mystery to me. So is there anyone in Perth who does,this sort of thing or am i going to have to educate myself. Thanks.

    I bought one

    Hi ,
    I bought one a few months back from Dig Options on line. I chose to get the reverse camera option ,upgraded radio but didnt bother with internet as i have an ipad already. I had mine fitted by one of their installers for $200 which was well spent. You can see the pics etc in a post i put up "new multi media system fitted" . Its been a few months now and I am very happy with the system. The navigation is great and i have already recieved an update. The reverse camera went funny once but is working great now. To fit this unit you need someone who isnt afraid to cut up the inside of the dash. You wont see it but its a one way job you cant go back. I had a wood trim kit and this fitted the dig options unit perfectly. Cost for the unit was $760 . Have a look a my post when i fitted it , i also have a video of what we had to cut out to get it in. This unit is the same as the ones they use to upgrade the X5 bmw.
