Being ignition controlled there will be a relay that can be replaced with a jumper wire fitted with 2 spade terminals - just have to find which relay!
Here's the wiring for L322 2002-2006 accessory sockets.
From battery to 100 amp link on pass compartment fuse panel;
then to fuses 1 (front) and 7(rear) in rear fuse panel- both 20 amp fuses.
Ignition isn't in the circuit.
So not even selectable thru BCU.
It's just there!
For some reason I can't upload the relevant rave circuit diagram.
The 2 relays for the MY10-12 is in the passenger compartment fuse panel (behind the lower glove-box) and is identified on the fuse/relay diagram attached to the fuse panel cover. The small relay is for the centre console outlets, with mine now replaced by a jumper with 2 spade terminals.Quote:
