    MY09 ??

I've been looking on car sales at many vogues and haven't noticed any MY09 or 07's either.
Did they skip those years and just run 08 for two years?
    Confused...

To the best of my knowledge the MY08 vehicle ran until replaced with MY10. It was the year the mighty BMW M57 engine was replaced.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I've seen a 2006 tdv8 that was a private import. MY07s do come up. There is one for sale now in WA.

There's a very nice 08 with low kms that's just come up, Buckingham blue and parchment interior.

I've had my MY08 tdv8 for just over 6 mths. It's a beautiful vehicle. We are doing twice as many km in it compared to the perentie, as the family like riding in this LR. I wish I could justify keeping both.

What do you consider low kms? I've been watching many vogues that are just priced stupidly and not selling.

    Anything under or around 150,000km.

    But then mine has 240,000km.

I have noticed this too and it is both private sales and car yards.

What would you want to check on a MY08 TDV8 car around 150000 kms?
    - Airbag suspension (if replaced yet or not. If not how often would you assume)
    - trans (if it's been serviced and fluid changed. If not change and add filter and pan.then cross your fingers)
    - air compressor ( if replaced or re kitted. If not it may need it soonish)
    - turbo inter cooler hoses (check if replaced or leaking. How much are these and can you replace with silicon?)
    - timing belt? Or is it a chain?
    - cv joints?
    - ball joints?
    - battery replacement. If done or not.

Is there other things that could need doing?
How long do the turbos last?
    Fan belt?
    Etc

Graeme on this forum is quite knowledgeable on technical stuff. He posted the following on the ZF 6 speed problem tranny. My MY08 was just before the VINs quoted. I would check the VIN against the following.

    "Problem ZF 6 speed boxes
Any combination of the following DTC's may be stored in the transmission control module (TCM). P0729 to P0735, P0783, P2702 to P2704.*

Cause: Internal lead free stator bush wear causing loss of pressure on E clutch. Suggested Customer Concern Code - P66

Range Rover (LM) - ZF 6HP Automatic Transmission* Model Year: 2008-2011* Chassis Range: 8A282106-BA356686* "

I've only posted the info re the L322.

Is that an expensive fix if it's in the vin range?
