    Thanks Laurie,
I actually pick up my new (second hand) car this Tuesday.
    2010 luxury with 70k kms.
Good time to do all the oils and filters.
    Also sourcing silicon turbo hoses.
And getting to know what I need to do.
Ordering a iid Bluetooth tool even though I have a nanocom Evo with td5 licenses for defender and disco 2.
I could buy the license for 2010 vogue but I think the iid tool does a lot more. And integrates better.

We are lucky in Oz with the ZF's being used in Fords especially their high performance models. There are a lot of Ford performance shops that offer upgrades and rebuilds at a much better price than in the 4WD world. I think I saw your car on Carsales ? Very nice

Could you name one of these places. I have a metal pan and just want a oil and filter change and was quoted nearly $1000 by a local auto trans place. I was going to get a quote from the local Ford dealership.

The trans fluid is expensive ,but not that bad

Did you explain that they won't have to jack the engine up and unbolt the mounts, and remove the exhaust ?

Below is one company that does ZF's for Fords

Mine cost $920 including GST. They did a double flush and refill, and cleared all codes. I was charged about 2 hrs labour. I already had a steel pan.

    Thanks Laurie, that's the one.
    I pick it up tomorrow.
Fingers crossed she's a good one.
Managed to get an NRMA inspection on it who picked up it needed new front control arm bushes, a leak in the exhaust and Parking sensors not working.
They've apparently fixed those items for me.
But I definitely want to scan for errors in the computer as in sure nrma couldn't do that.
It's probably due for a good going over from Graeme Cooper.
Also thanks for all the other replies with recommendations.
