I take it you don't have a diagnostics device of any sort, apart from simply being the handbrake switch needs adjusting if there is no message centre messages then someone might be able to help out with a diagnostic to read a fault.
Hi All
The red brake warning light on the instrument cluster has illuminated, without any fault messages.
Checked the brake fluid, all correct.
The front pads and sensor were changed six months ago.
Anyone have any ideas ?
Paul

The ''Check brake pads'' message has just come up, ( two days after the red warning light ) so i'm hoping all I need to do is change the pads and sensor.
I would check the wiring for the sensors before changing pads again, 6 months is too short unless your discs are causing excessive wear
Took all the wheels off, front pads looked like new, sensor perfect.
Rear pads almost touching the metal, fitted new pads and sensor. Red cluster warning light still on.Four days later......no warning light. I'm assuming one of those LR gremlins......
