    TD6 Decat

So while my engine is currently in pieces in the boot of the Rangie whilst I am waiting for my Turbo to be rebuilt and new injectors to arrive I have been pondering on what other improvements I should undertake given the current unparalleled access to engine components.

I have ordered the EGR bypass and are now considering a decat whilst the turbo is off.

Has anyone done this? I have read on a few other (not as good) forums in the uk people have seen improvement and X5 owners have seemed to have success.

Just wanting input from my fellow Aussie L322 owners!!

I had seen this online Fast Road Conversions - 01233 662225 - Exhaust Specialists in Kent

Decat will increase power and efficiency but it will also make it smelly.
I have removed the rear muffler box on my one, gives it a nice grumble and no added smells.
There is no droning noises when driving either
