    Nexen 19" tyres

Pretty happy so far with handling , smoothness and silence. Great in the wet and quite acceptable in snow. Gravel and muddy tracks they performed fine and after 5000km they are hardly worn. Overall i woukd recommend them and they are cheap for a 255/55/19, $260 odd a tyre.

If they are the highway ones I have been through 3 or 4 sets, very happy with them but watch them past about 60k as in my experience the last 30-40 percent of tread seems to wear off in the last 5 percent of tyre.

Strangely enough I got places with them that kitted out d2's couldn't on big knobbly tyres.

Not nexens but my cheap and cheerful HT 19s have been good on gravel roads. I might have wasted my money on GOE 18s. Not really.

I've also been very impressed with the RRVs off road traction on HT tyres.
