Thread: Help with Air Suspension compressor

Hi,
Looking for a compressor seal kit in Australia, as l know l can buy on eBay however as l about 4 days getting on spirit of Tas for the Cape York trip.

If someone willing part with a Waco seal kit l can re - order a replace for you.

Need kit by 26th july as l can provide address in Cairns were l'll be for 24hrs before leaving.

A week too late sorry, just stuffed a kit through mine.

How bad is yours? Making a heap of noise or just a bit slow? After pulling mine apart, I have a feeling if it's not too far gone that you could polish up the old ring and go for a while longer - don't lubricate it though.

When I mean polish, I mean get a really smooth surface back on the ring - mine was slow to build air and noisy - the new ring is smooth and supple, the old one had some fuzzy wear marks on it.

Just a thought - it may get you out of trouble for the trip.

Anyone got thier vehicle layed up at the moment due to other issues? It only takes 5 minutes to pull the whole compressor housing out - maybe someone could lend you theirs for the trip? If mine wasn't going to its new owner maybe this weekend, I'd lend you mine.
