    19 inch wheels for 2012 TDV8 - spotted.

I was at Barbagallo Land Rover for some (more) warranty work (memory seat function dysfunctional) when I spotted an identical L322, with 19 inch wheels and 55 profile rubber.
Anyone know what wheel style this is? They only just fit over the brakes, but I'd kill for that combination on my car for off road work.

Wouldn't 285/55/20s be a better off road tyre with similar side wall height to 255/55/19s?

Well, maybe they would. I'll have to get my head around the maths. I've been looking at Pirelli Scorpion 275/55R20 as recommended by Grant Fowler but presumably a 285 would provide even more sidewall at the same ratio.

The 19" D4 wheels should fit over the brakes as they fit over the 4.4 TDV8 brakes

About half way down this review shows the wheels off road with either AT or MT tyres.

They will be too big, assuming that the size is actually available. 285/50R20 is slightly smaller than 275/55R20 which is the maximum size that fits with only minimal rubbing.

Sorry Greg, I meant 285/50/20. Beside a 255/55/19 these look huge. But once in a car they look ok. But they are too big for the wheel well. Graeme managed to get his 275/55 spare to fit with minor mods as narrower tyre. Another reason I went 265/60/18s, which is not an option for you as far as I know.
