As forum member pointed out to me yesterday, us drivers of lounge rooms on wheels don't ever use a jack, we usually just call the road side assists to change our tyres. Good on ya Chris
jacks good enough to do the job properly end up being quite bulky items if you carry them , a bit like a decent size fire extinguisher......both items take up a lot of space and weight.
and for the jack you need a decent plate under it be it timber or metal , again weight and space thief.
but, you really gotta have 'em.
There's a uk seller on eBay selling 2 new Sprinter jacks as a package. About $240 delivered to oz or $120 each. Anyone interested in going halves?
This ones going to need the attachment you've all being talking about to go into the arms. Chassis just falls short.https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...016/09/681.jpghttps://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/im...016/09/682.jpg Lowered it onto the jack with access height then opened the door..
The weber/Mercedes sprinter jack is a two stage 2.6T which seems to tick all boxes.
Hi rar110, just read this post, it must be the same ones I bought last night.
I priced a second hand one at a sprinter wrecker and they want $175 each! for them, so if you want the other you can have it when it arrives to me in Australia.
At what it cost me plus what ever postage to your location.
Cheers, mario
Just buy a new 2 stage from Blackwoods for $160 [emoji41]
Then you have warranty (and kept an Aussie in a job too)
