    Tdv8 cranking battery recommendation

    Gday fellow L322 owners.

I'm pretty sure my cranking battery is on it's way out. Any recommendations on a replacement and seller?

I've found Varta L1 and Optima DIN 100.

Also in case it's relevant I have a Traxide and yellow top in the back.

    Thanks.

Whilst I haven't checked the size, I'm sufficiently impressed with the Varta G14 that I fitted to the D4 to fit another to the L322 when the time comes. However I suspect that your vehicle doesn't have the same fickle charge management as the 3.0 TDV6 D4s and 4.4 TDV8 L322s so a cheaper battery may suffice.

Understand that I am biased ... as I sell the batteries!

I can supply Deka (or Federal) Intimidator AGM 9A94R @$410 delivered,
Varta G14, an AGM battery @$418 delivered. Users have bought both, but Varta seems to be preferred.
