If the struts and air spring are original they will be likely near the end of their life. You could try jacking up that corner letting the hub drop to get a better look at the air spring when extended. It seems they are more likely to fail toward the bottom where it rolls over itself. You might find a hole. Alternatively a seal around the strut may have failed letting air escape.
