    strange indicator behjaviour

I recently bought a 2007 Vogue that has had a 2012 Autobiography Black body kit update, including the front lights.

I have just noticed that the front indicators do not work while the engine is running.
They are fine with the engine off and ignition on, but as soon as the engine is started they no longer work (only the front.... backs are fine).

I have read that there is a change in the wiring when this update is performed and as they work ok when the engine is off, I am guessing the wiring has been modified correctly.
Does anyone know if there is maybe an ECU which controls the behaviour of the indicators which may need a program tweek?

All other lights work as they should.

    Cheers

Yes, the indicators are driven from an ecu (not sure which one on these later models sorry, they are quite a bit different from the earlier ones I believe) - but I've not heard of this one before - do you have a fault code reader by any chance?
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions Homestar.
No code reader at the moment but will eventually do my research and purchase one.

In the mean time I will have British Offroad up on the Sunshine Coast take a look at it and see if they can get them working correctly.
Failing that, I will rig up a couple of amber LEDs into the grill and drive them from the fender repeaters - should keep me out of trouble with the law.

Update.... I have used amber LEDs in the grill either side driven from the resisters. Which were installed when the update was performed.
    Works as intended.
Yet to purchase the iidtool to investigate the original problem.

    Cheers

So Couldn't British off road come up with a solution when you took it in?
