    air Suspension

    Hi
I have asked about this on another forum
    air Suspension
The air Suspension is not working properly and is on the stops
The light on the control knob is off and on the dash, it tells me the suspension is not working.
With my icarsoft, I have a fault saying, “too much energy for regulation needed rear left”
I cleared the fault and the rear of the vehicle rose up
I don’t know if I waited long enough but I thought the front was not going to rise so I switched it to off road position, that didn’t seem to make any difference so I switched it to normal road height and the front immediately rose to the off road height.
Both front and rear are now in off road position
No matter what position I put the switch in, the suspension stays in the off road position
At the same time, with the switch in the normal road height, the touch screen shows the suspension in normal height
I put the switch in the lowest position but it stayed in the off road position so I drove it through the gully at the side of the road a few times and it has come down to properly less than normal road height but not to the stops.
I am thinking the problem is “too much energy for regulation needed rear left”
But what does that mean and where do I go now
    thanks

Not sure what model RR you have, but with my P38 I use a Nanocom to cycle through the different heights, leave it on access height, then turn it off and go have a cuppa. Next start, things are usually ok for another couple of months or so

I know he has an L322 (like me, he's also on the FullFat RR Forum) so I've moved it to the correct area.

Sounds like a leak in the left rear. I had the similar message with a leak in the front.

It's not an uncommon error message as you will see when you Google it.

I don't think you can have a signature file (like mine) unless you are a subscriber, I.e., paying an annual membership fee to the forum.

have a look at your profile -> About Me to see if there is the Signature option.

Well, I googled it, everything points to a leak it seems.
Having read lots of posts, I am well aware that a leak doesn’t mean the suspension will necessarily sag.
So maybe I have a leak.
Would that stop the vehicle going to the access position?
At the moment, the touch screen says it is in access position.
The control knob light is in the access position and won’t let me change it
The vehicle height looks to be in normal drive position.
The icarsoft diagnostic tool does not show any faults
The “too much energy for regulation needed rear left” has not returned.
    thanks

I ha a glitch on mine did a silar thing , so I used iidtool to disable the air suspension and then clicked re-able airsuspension and it solved my issue. but you only have a code reader /resetter. It reset what ever glitch I had at the time.

Another (longer term) option is to get hold of an EAS Kicker, sold by BBSGuy (on this forum). I leave that in the glovebox for the missus to use if I'm not around. Simple three step process to use.

The EAS Kicker is for the RRC and P38A EAS, not L322.

I'm not sure which year model knares' L322 is so I can't make definitive suggestions for diagnostic gear.

There is the BlackBox Solutions MSV-2 Hardware - BLACKBOX SOLUTIONS LTD but, for early models, the software might be too expensive for him.

For later models the BlackBox Solututions Nanocome Evolution Welcome - NANOCOM Diagnostics is a good option.

Alternatively, for all models the Gap Diagnostics IID Tool is also worth consideration. Diagnostic tool for Land Rover - Gap Diagnostic
