CVD recalibration
My MY12's CVD shocks had lost a lot of their ability to smooth-out bumps to the point where I have been contemplating replacing them after only 45K of my use (65K total - ex city vehicle), well short of the hoped-for more life than the 60-80K that normal shocks have lasted me on previous vehicles. However after installing the iidtool's latest beta s/w I spotted an option to set the CVD control module to calibration mode, so set the mode. A short mail-run drive this morning revealed that the shocks were once again damping decently on both faster gravel road bumps and very rough dried-up bog-holes in my driveway. Hopefully in the following days their restored performance at speed on the blacktop will be properly confirmed.
