    3.6 Tdv8 Battery Recomendations

    Paul
I have a supercharge battery. The previous identical one didn’t quite pass a load test so they replaced it with a new one just before the 36mth warranty ended. I was pretty happy as previous one was fitted by the previous owner. That battery had been drained twice by a failed alternator. So no surprise it was starting to fail.

950 trumps my suggestion, and a good price and brand name to boot. Well done. Esp with these voltage hungry beasts. What mods were required?

The battery is a smidgin wide so need to cut off the plastic at the bottom on the negative negative side which is for a battery clamp and shaved down any excess plastic. Also loosened The battery plate and made sure it was as far across as possible.

its down to millimetres. I had read its a tight fit, but was still thinking I'm not going to get this in.
