I received my sample of a new Heated leather steering wheel today to fit and test.
So the week end might be busy fitting it.

Be easier to move to Queensland if you suffer from cold fingers!

I didn't say I was going to plug it in, it is a sample wheel to test , and it comes with the heated plug.
Since the L322 leather steering wheels generally wear on the top half I am fitting it to mine for a test run.

I'd prefer heated seats than a steering wheel.

But I wouldn't say no if I was offered one.

I fitted the new style soft feel wheel today, as those before me probably know what a pain it is to remove the Airbag!
There was no heating ECU under the airbag, so it will be used as non heated, not that I need heating anyway.

After about on hour of fiddling with other devices I used a cut of piece of metal coat hanger, and got it off, the trick is to locate the spring base It was actually quite a tight retain.

Not happy with the plastic spoke covers with that factory rubbery paint that peels off and is unsightly. I stripped it off with some 2 pac thinners I had and gave them a spray with matt black plastic dye.

    It now looks better now.
