    L322 td6 turbo noise

A piece from the EGR possibly?

I’m not familiar with the td6 exhaust feed set up.

That would mean it would have to go into the intake, some how dodge the exhaust valve without doing damage to bore and exhaust valve and exist out to the turbo.

    G’day Mario

I was thinking back down the shoot to the exhaust source. But I’m not familiar with td6 turbo set up.

Well !. Long time coming but my girl is on the road again. After rebuilding the turbo replaced vacuum hoses that looked like flat spaghetti cleaning out inlet manifold and new gaskets and seals (thanks Mario ). Noise is gone and she runs sweet . interesting to see if any economy variations. Didn't find culprit of turbo damage and cat had nothing embedded in it.

Once exhaust is out of the way turbo is easy to remove. I cut my exhaust and fitted a slip joint a while back when i had the complete rear cradle out.
