You need to reach under and using jumper leads hook the pos lead onto the starter and neg to chassis with a spare battery, that will energise enough for the fob to work.
The Rangie has been sitting unused for the last 10 days and today I tried to open the door with the fob and nothing. A key in the door doesn't do anything. I expect the battery voltage is too low now to operate any actuators. Doesn't a key in the door lock unlock I would have thought it would. So suggestions appreciated.
Thanks Mario

Should work, only needs to be enough to unlock the car then charge battery.

G`day , don`t know if it works but i`d look at a wiring diagram and follow the wires back to see .
As they are switched i`d want to understand how they allow power to the battery .
How to unlock your RR/L322 with dead battery
There is a direct connection to the battery from my MY12's white plug pin 4. Fuse is 30A.

A big thanks to Chris 'Rangieman' who took the time to pop overand crawl underneath and connect a booster to the starter for me, we then gain access. The 12 month plus battery was only showing about 2.7 volts! I heard batteries die but this is ridiculous, Going to look at a Caterpiller battery to replace.
