    2007 TDV8 front air strut tear down

    It’s got me
    anyone know how to remove the large black bolt/fixing on top

    It appears to require the use of a suitable size hex socket and probably using an impact wrench.

    Hi Graeme,
    Thanks tried that while holding the unit by the 3 top fixing bolts, but after some resistance it rotated internally, but not undoing.

    Is there a hex hole in the shaft itself suitable for an Allen key?
