How do I know if I have a Vogue or a HSE??

G'day Guys, girls and the LGBTIs

I've got myself an 03 V8 Vogue (I think), to replace my Classic as a work truck.

The thing is how do a know for sure if it is a Vogue or not? The VIN is SALLMAMA34A145083

The issue is that I can't control the headrest or the shoulder adjustment on the drivers seat.I seem to be missing a switch that the passenger side has but not the drivers. The passenger seat works as it should, but I have less control on the driver's seat. Is that normal? It has the memory buttons but they don't seem to work.

It has the SatNav (which is ****) and the DSP, so maybe it is a Vogue.

Also who has an update for the SatNav DVD that they can copy for me???

    Hi
Topix doesn't show the Vehicle Home Page details on my subscription, you might need a dealers etc logon ! This is not uncommon with most pre 08 Models when looking them up.

    Sat Nav = Vogue.

I have the most recent maps that I can find.

If your sat nave isn't working it might be the DVD player. Mine's been updated to the Mk IV player.

    Thanks guys,

Roverlord - what site is that, is that a dealer thing? looks handy to have.

P38arover - the sat nav works but the DVD is so old it's pretty much useless. I think it is a 2005 disc and by the look of it an updated DVD is like $450 bucks, ouch! On your L322 do you have the little 4 way control button for the headrest and shoulder support just above the backrest control? like the passenger seat has?

I hope that my problem is someone changed the seat control switch panel for a cheaper version from a BMW. I really hope so cause I've order a new one for $280 and the seat plastic trim for $180 plus delivery made a big hit on the wallet.

The dealer "thing" is probably Topix which is completely different to MicroCat which an electronic parts catalogue and which is still current. Topix has al the workshop manuals, tech bulletins, etc, and private individuals can register (pay a fee) and download everything. I did that for my P38A.

Re the seat switch, here's a pic of my seat:

    Thanks Ron,

Yep that confirms for me that the switch panel on my car is not the correct one. You have the control knob that mine is missing. That's a good thing as I haven't waisted my money on the new switch panel.

    Thanks Steve.

Ron Microcat is being replaced in dealerships. I don't think it is being updated to the latest models and part numbers. Microcat probably does not have the last vehicles like 2019 models. It's probably ok for older models, but in business you need the lastest info. I checked out the russian online microcst site that some of you use and there are no lastest models showing.

Then I apologise Mario. I was wrong! What's the new app? Does it replace Topix as well?
