Help needed to identify this part

Doing rocker cover gaskets and emissions hoses on my 2003 L322.

When I pulled it down there were a number of cable ties as previous owner and others had been in there before.

It's a RHD car so there is a large battery cable running from the firewall on the passengers side to the rear of the engine. Attached to this by a cable tie is a steel bracket which I would like to put back where it belongs, but can't identify it.

    Any clues?

    Hey hey,

So I've had a look and I think I might have found it, but I'll double check - what engine do you have? Or better yet, shoot me your VIN and I'll scour the engine bay lol.

    You owe me!

I went out in the 41 deg heat, in the sun, removed the engine cover and looked. I can't see anything like that. I wasn't about the remove the plenum intake until I do my PCV stuff soon.
