Thread: Drivers door handle not working

Well after what seems an eternity, my drivers outer door handle stopped working.

Have had a look on fullfat site and it seems to be pretty easy to get it off/on.

So have ordered one and now waiting patiently for it to arrive so I can fix it and hopefully it works.

Gonna be a pain getting in/out of passenger side for the next week or so.

It will be interesting how I go with the door card on/off, normally I'm not very good at getting the buggers off, I tend to break most if not all the lugs.

p s apparently powerfuluk have a video on taking the door card off, am about to look at it.

I received the part yesterday and after reviewing the video again I got to work removing door card, moved the airbag out of the way and got the cable out. Couldnt get the nub out so had to take door handle off. After careful drilling of nub I got it out, then on with new cable and put everything back together.
All works like new again
