Just ran the IID GAP Tool and attached is the faults, strange that the tbox and gearbox has no fault codes.
Message bar "Transferbox neutral" and incessant dinging.

A good set of seemingly random codes....

I don't think I'd be focussing on the transfer case neutral message as the key to all this. That is most likely just a symptom like many of the fault codes you have.

I'm trying to see what is common to that set of codes and my first thought is the ABS module or an earth point. I'm not sure how much more assistance I can offer from here though - it's nothing like the problem I have.

I have read the ABS module is known for a corrosion problem in the plug, so it might be worth disconnecting for inspection since it's a 2 minute job.

The tbox neutral was the first thing and it would lock in 5th gear and sports mode was disabled. From standing start taking off in 5th. Most times, turn off ignition wait a little while restart and all good for a while then it would all come back again.
ABS, EAS and yellow triangle appeared yesterday after I reconnected the batteries.

Did you turn the steering wheel lock to lock after reconnecting the battery? If not that will cause ABS fault codes and yellow triangle.

You need to clear all the codes are lock to lock. Then see what is remaining.

Good on me to forget that one.
Steering lock to lock done, GAP tool fitted read and all faults cleared. Reread and remaining faults.
    IP- Instrument pack
0xBD EBV function fault received from ABS ECU.
    LCM-light control v12+
    0x5A Brake pad fault.
The brake pad fault is from new pads fitted and new pad sensor but the plastic housing on the car side of wiring harness was deteriorated and I'm try to fix it another way. Not sure how yet.

That's about right for that box, they did have some problems. Fixes in place for the majority of gremlins; ( Sonnax Valve Kit ) it was a very widely used gearbox. Best to get a ZF specialist to do it, if possible as the clutch slip control system is so sensitive to unplanned clutch slip that it drops the transmission into failsafe the moment anything untoward happens. Not unexpected to see the friction rings in good nick; even at those K's.

Car is back on the road again, all gears working for now (fingers crossed).
The problem we think seemed to be fuse 37. When I was given the remedy to unlock low range place a fuse in slot 37, key to on gearbox in neutral etc I then replaced fuse 37 after doing this. Seems fuse 37 needs to be inserted when you are flat towing the vehicle to put both gear boxes in neutral. Not for towing a trailer as I had thought. Live and learn.
Thanks VERY much to all for your patience and assisance.
    Cheers
