    TD6 2002 L322 control arms.

    Hi All
Just about to buy new upper and lower control arms. I fitted new right hand side upper and lower in May 18 which have worn out already.
The left side was done about five years go.
I can hear knocking on both sides , i just tried to get the wheels aligned and was told it could not be done with the state of the bushes as they are.
Have found a few places in the UK that will deliver the whole set of four for $400 delivered.
Can anyone recommend anyhere in Australia who can supply these at a similar cost.
    Cheers Paul.

That is cheap, not worth replacing bushes for that.

    TD6 2002 L322 control arms.

    Hi All.
Yet again, the control arms on my l322 need replacing. I did the right hand side in May 18, and the left in 2014
Yesterday i tried to get the wheels aligned and was told it could not be done acuratly with the bushes the way they are.
Have priced the whole set for both side from the UK for $400 delivered.
Anyone out there know of a company in Oz who can supply at a similar price ?
Also are the after market ones any good or should i get Delphy OEM.
    Cheers Paul.

Personally I would equate cheap to 'Cheap bushes'. When I did mine (many years ago now), I rebuilt all 4 corners on mine using all Lemforder parts - they are all still going strong with the new owner from what I believe. There were much cheaper alternatives but I went this way as all the reviews I'd found on cheaper parts wasn't glowing by any stretch. Avoiding cheap rubber components is hard these days, so I would say if you buy cheap you'll be doing them again in no time. Although quite a large job and you'll need a decent press, I didn't find rebuilding them that difficult.

    Front, Upper Control arm bushings

After 23,000 km I am about to replace the upper front control arm bushings. I originally purchased OEM spec bushes from Rimmer UK.
As I got over 170,000 km out of originals I said hang the expense and paid for two Land Rover bushes.
Cost saving is zippo compared to doing work over.
