maximum size 18" tyres on L322

Looking for a slightly higher profile tyre to put on an 08 L322.
    I have 18" rims.
Was looking at 255/65 18, but stock not available at present.
Does anybody know if I can fit 265/65 18" without scrubbing?

265/65R18 are nominally slightly smaller in diameter than the 275/55R20 that I have fitted and will be slightly narrower. The 275/55R20 clear when on the bump-stops (found out recently) but rub the liners if the steering is turned much and rub at access height if the steering is turned a lot. I'm planning to fit 255/60R19 as my next tyres which are 31" and narrower to ensure that the vehicle can be driven on the bump-stops if necessary.

    Hi,
I've being using 265/60 18 and works perfectly for me, even doing 4wdriving.

If it helps i am running 265/60/18 Wildpeaks on my L322 with no issues and have installed 265/65/17 on our Discovery 3 last week i am very impressed with the Wildpeaks they are very quiet and still very tractable off road given they are the A/T version and the Discovery ones are L/t rated my wife is very impressed. She travels over some gravel/sandy roads on her daily drive to work and stated the difference was amazing compared to the Bridgestone Duelers she had previously.

Main reason I am looking for higher profile is that I seem to be dead unlucky cutting sidewalls, even when running on bitumen, and hoping a slightly higher sidewall might reduce such events (as didn't seem to get them on other Land Rovers running 65 and 70 profile tyres.
Looks like I may have to settle for 60 profile.

Yes, found I could mount 265/65/18 on my D3 but couldn't fit the spare underneath (had a rear carrier), but the L322 doesn't seem to have the wheel arch space (not sure about spare wheel space either), and I have been warned that should suspension drop Tyres likely to rub.
Looks like 265/60/18 are where it will have to be.
