Did you notice the old Tojo with some decent rubber on it easilly simply walked up the hill to pump up the Rangies tyre, Good rubber on that Rangie and it would have done that hill with ease without all the scrabbling and scratching about.
I saw this on facebook. don't need all the accessories lol , apart for the flat tyre whilst on the steep incline it did it well in stock form.

I think thats the point of the video. I condemn Evo for his great driving skills, and i love how he put his shopping trolley with hwy tyres through that, and came out unscathed and i bet would have shown up a LOT of other stock 4wd's if they tagged along, most peopke wouldn't even drive that with their 'modded' 4wd with 'bigger sidewalls'.
That 80 is heavily modified and on 37's, of course its going to make it look easy.
Some decent rubber on the Rangie and it too would have made it look easy as well.
The old school cruiser did it easy just imagine how easy the more advanced tech on the RR would be with decent rubber fitted.

Point is, he still did it, low profile hwy tyres and all. Theres a lot of other stock vehicles that would have struggled to get hlaf way.
There are a hell of a lot of bog standard 4WD's out there on farms, stations and minesites that do similar work on a daily basis and with ease because they Don't come fitted with low profile tyres as standard equipment.
This clip shows you two things.
1 It shows you that with skill it Can be done.
2 It shows that with better rubber it could have been done with ease without all that painful scrabbling and scratching going on.
The clip also clearly shows that low profile rubber on a 4WD is most definitely not an asset.
I would love to see a follow-up video of the same range fitted with good rubber climbing the same hill.

Have driven the current shape Range Rover up some slippery muddy hills and while it worked hard to do it did very well considering. That is until the standard road biased tyres filled up with mud and grip was lost
