Vehicle identificatio plate location l322 2004 vogue 4.4l petrol

    Good morning all,
I have looked everywhere for the above and can not find it.

According to the owners manual it should be next to the windscreen wiper filler tube. Bazinga but no.

I tried googling on the internet. Bazinga, but no.
It keeps telling me where the VIN is.

The reason I wrote the long thread name, is I am trying to find the GCM for the above vehicle.

I even looked on my rego papers, the only weight missing is the GCM.
Can some one please help me out.

    Cheers
    Hans

It's normally on a front door post, seen with the door open.

Yep, bottom of the RHS B-pillar.

GCM is unlikely to be stated. You need to calculate if from the GVM/GVW and tow capacity:

    VEHICLE WEIGHTS

Approximate EEC kerb weights (full fuel tank)
    - Petrol engine vehicles 2440 - 2570 kg (5379 - 5666 lb)
    - Diesel engine vehicles 2435 - 2570 kg (5368 - 5666 lb)

    Maximum gross vehicle weight
    - All vehicles 3050 kg (6724 lb)
NOTE: The gross vehicle weight can be increased to a maximum of 3150 kg (6945 lb) and the rear
axle load can be increased to a maximum of 2050 kg (4519 lb) when towing, provided road speed is
    limited to 62 mph (100 km/h).
    TOWING WEIGHTS
Maximum tow hitch load (Nose weight)
If the vehicle is loaded to the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), the nose weight is limited to 330 lb
(150 kg). If a greater nose weight is necessary (up to 550 lb (250 kg) maximum), vehicle loading
should be adjusted to ensure the GVW and rear axle weights are not exceeded.
Maximum permissible towed weights On-road Off-road
Unbraked trailers 750 kg (1653 lb) 750 kg (1653 lb)
Trailers with overrun brakes 3500 kg (7716 lb) 1000 kg (2204 lb)
Roof rack load (including the mass of roof rack) 100 kg (220 lb) 30 kg (66 lb)

See John Cadogen's YouTube video. Search for Complete guide to heavy towing (GVM, GCM & ATM explained) | Auto Expert John Cadogan

I won't link it as JC's videos usually have bad language.

Thanks very much for all the information. I did find it right down the bottom of the B pillar, had to get on hands & knees to read it. No info there. Well not what I wanted.
Thanks again I'll do some sums.
    Cheers
