Managed to google it on my phone and have had a response from the owner in Qld.
He is passing my number to his agent in western Sydney and I am expecting a call tomorrow.
Stage 2 clean about $260. Not so bad, then we decide on the petrol and match.
I'll keep you informed of progress.
Cheers
Hi team,
Booked in for head clean on Saturday & I will book in a head pressure test next week to see if it works or not. Although I'm thinking of selling the vehicle complete, or as parts. The kids have bee in my ear as to we would feel better if you were in a new car rather than the Rangie, even though they know my passion for the Range Rover.
I'll keep you abreast of the situation as it progresses. Kaymac rear bumper , spare tyre carrier and jerry can holder Front Nudge bar, Winch and cradle, roof rack and lights.
Plus lots of spares, wheel bearings, rear air bag suspension new unused, Cabin air filters, Washable air cleaners, Timing chain, guides, all gaskets. Front wheel bearings Photos to follow. Oh, a set of clearview towing mirrors and a set of eBay's towing mirrors will a broken mirror large flat mirror. More to follow with pictures.
Oh so sad you are looking at breaking your car up for parts.
Although I would like some wood stuff for mine. I can't understand why a Vouge would come with those nasty silver parts. I blame BMW for dumbing down the RR to not compete with the X5. There are things that my 01 Jag, 02 Disco 2 had that aren't on my 04 RR Vouge. Like the radio will work for 20min with the ignition off, auto headlights and such.
Well, the man came around on Saturday and sprayed some stuff into my motor, revved the guts out of it and woke the neighbors for an hour.
I took it for a run as instructed and it seemed to be better, however, I have asked my mechanic to come around and recheck the cylinders.
My Failsafe is coming on when I first start the motor in the morning, as I try to drive away it feels like it is in top gear. I found if I turn it off and back on again it will take off normally, except on Sunday, just didn't want to play.
Thoughts ?
Seems if I top up the radiator fluid it works better, well this time anyway.
Any chance it is the transfer case potentiometer solder joints having cracked? See my post about this: Trans Failsafe Program - a different problem
