Thread: “Check coolant level “ message

I’ve got a my08 l322 tdv8 and keep getting the above message so I replaced the expansion tank which houses the the level indicator to no avail …. still getting the message. Level in expansion tank is always good. Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be. Normal op temps always observed around 86 deg C . Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Did you replace the sensor and the float also ? The sensor can be tested with a magnet.
