    Reverse light power.

My car has two large, 7 pin trailer plugs. Each has a different male/female connection configuration, neither compliant with Australian Standard. Is there a reverse light feed at either of these plugs, please?

Solihull fitted, going by the custom Land Rover branding on the covers.

The 2010-2012 models had a different wiring configuration. What year is yours ? The 2010+ wiring sheet for mine shows Yellow/Brown for Rev-lights, how many pins in the sockets, just the standard 7? Just looking at a UK diagram the UK seems to have substituted the rev- light for fog lights , time to breakout test light

Thanks Laurie, mine's 2003/4. Each plug has seven pins. I also have the rectangular 12 pin plug, but it looks heaps more fiddly to tap than the unused larger ones.

    Reverse light power.

They look like the standard UK 12N and 12S plugs. Same as the D3/D4.

Edit: note actual orientation will vary compared to the diagram. Locate the earth first.

Thanks DiscoDB, that was a great help. I located a blinkers terminal, then used that as a datum. I've proven the concept, just need to improve the implementation.
Somewhere between wires, plugs and the transformer dangling, but lights working and tidying up and securing the bits and pieces, I've lost connectivity.
Oh well, there's tomorrow's entertainment sorted.

Well I came out this morning to find the break in connectivity and it worked fine, straight up.
I wired the second light in, tidied up all the wiring and secured it all above chassis height.

Job done, no excuses for backing into my sister's retaining wall, now!

Ron, I'd suggest that your towbar, et al, was dealership fitted as opposed to mine, which was factory fitted.

Scouse told me all Oz-delivered L322 came with factory fitted towbars.

I’ll check what mine came with at vindecoderz.com - it shows everything the car was fitted with ex-factory.

Aah, here we are: Towing Equipment - X Bar Trailer Prep NAS/AUZ [028BP

Scary - I remembered the whole VIN without having to look at the car!
