2002 L322 Air Compressor rubber vibration mounts

    Hi All,

When I serviced my air compressor I seem to have broken a rubber anti-vibration mount.
Having done a search for RVL500014, by the price of them it looks like these things are made out of gold - ~$100 each!
Does anybody have a cheaper source, or a cheap work around, as after reassembly with the broken mount, I can feel the compressor through the drivers seat!

Yes you can purchase one of these complete with two mounts. I did and it proving to be good. They are a direct copy no installation.

    Thanks,

the first link is for L319 compressor mounts - did you just buy the whole thing and then swap out the rubber mounts (which look similar)?

the second link is one of the ones that I saw $30 for the parts, and $190 shipping = $220 for three bits of rubber.

yes, I've already done the ebay/amazon/web search, hence the question.

    2002-2005 mounts p/n RVL500014 are ~$80-100 each e.g. Range Rover L322 02-05 Air Suspension Compressor Mounting Rubbers x4 RVL500014 | eBay
2006-2012 mounts p/n RVL500015 are a more reasonable $20-30 each e.g. the RMT link that you provided.

they are both round bits of rubber with a steel core, so I can't work out why one is so much more expensive than the other, especially given the UK LR websites have loads of stock of the expensive ones...

I can't get a feel for how big they are, but could you use a generic isolation mount?

This is just the first to come up in a search.

Just for future reference to aid anybody searching for the same.... I ordered the later mounts RVL500015 as I found a site with a photo, and they look very similar to mine.

I've just fitted one to replace the perished one, and apart from the groove on the 15' being bigger by around 1mm (so a bit loose) they seem to do the job.
